MembershipThis will be our last issue of the POTAC Newsletter for this mem-bership year. Our new membership year will begin in July, 2004, and we will be mailing dues reminders in the latter part of the summer.
The Steering Committee will be-gin planning for our fall, winter and spring events at that time. All our meetings are open, and we invite our membership to join us to offer ideas, discuss issues, and connect with other psych. OTs. POTAC’s Research Symposium 2004
On April 24, the Psychiatric Occupational Therapy Action Coalition (POTAC) and The
Dominican Uni-versity of Califor-nia, Department of Occupational Therapy present the Second An-nual Research Symposium on Psychosocial Is-sues in Occupa-tional Therapy. The theme is Re-search: Founda-tion and Future of the Profession.
Join us for a lively, informative, and stimulating day of research presenta-
tions and posters focusing on psycho-social aspects of occupations and oc-cupational therapy.

The San Francisco Vocational Task Force is presenting its yearly con-
ference on Friday, April 23, 2004, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm in the Golden Gate Room at the Fort Mason Center. This year’s topic is: Psychiatric Collaboration for Employment Suc-cess: Overcoming the Barriers.
The conference will feature Dr. Mark Ragins, MD, a psychiatrist who
