March News from the Presbyterian Women

Ladies get your calendars and please save the date, Saturday at 8:45 AM on April

4, to attend the annual Communion Service and White Breakfast. Pastor Roy Sharpe

will conduct the worship service with Diana Amtower on the piano. Come and

participate in this communion service and enjoy the breakfast fellowship. Tickets of $5

will become available on Sundays March 15, 22, and 29 in Fellowship Hall. Start

thinking of others you would like to invite to join us in this meaningful time together. It

has been the custom of many of our ladies to wear white to this occasion.

In March the Birthday Offering will be collected at our circle meetings. Launched

in 1922 the Birthday Offering has funded more than 200 mission projects that have

touched the lives of numerous women and children. This year grants will go to the

following: Center for Social Assistance to the Disabled, Family, and Children,

PREORAZHENIYE, in Davydovo, Russia; GAP Ministries of Augusta, Georgia to

Expand Access and Service Space; Community Presbyterian Child Learning Center in

Payson, Arizona a Childcare and Prekindergarten Facility; and Liberty Community

Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota for the Northside Healing Space Expansion.

The Riverside Presbyterian Women invite all ladies to join in the Deborah Circle

and the Hannah Ruth Rebekah Circle. The Deborah Circle and Women’s Bible study

meet on Wednesday evenings at 7 PM. The Hannah Ruth

Rebekah Circle meets the third Tuesday of the month at

1 PM. All circles meet in our Knox Parlor. This year’s Bible

study is entitled Love Carved in Stone.

EASTER EGG HUNT AT RIVERSIDE COMING SOON!

Kids, gather your Easter baskets and get ready for the annual Easter Egg Hunt at Riverside Presbyterian Church

on Easter Sunday, April 5th. We will meet in Fellowship Hall after the worship service for a short devotional

before the hunt. Toddlers and children through elementary

school age, are welcome to participate.

All children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews are invited.

Grab those baskets and let’s go hunt some EGGS !!!

SINGLE WOMEN’S GROUP The next gathering of the singles, widowed, divorced, never married, or just interested women will be on Sunday, March 8 at 11:15 am in Fellowship Hall, in the Pfeiffer Room, located near the back door. We will continue planning and sharing ideas of what we, as a group, would like to do together.
