LOAD ACCEPTANCE • The QAC TwinPowerTM is able to accept

more than 70% load step acceptance or even more than 1MVA within ISO8528 G3 class in an ISO 20 Dry container thanks to the two engine/alternator performance associated with the advanced control system (Qc4003)

• You can also be assured the QAC TwinPowerTM performance is equal or better than conventional single engine generator running under normal load.

ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY• The spillage free frame reduces any

potential environmental impact. It can contain 110% of the fuel tank capacity.

REDUCED OPERATIONAL COSTS• The standard service interval on standard

working conditions is 500 hours. Moreover, thanks to the Parallel management system (PMS), 1 of the generators ca be stopped according to load, extending the service time. In addition TwinPower concept is using less oil and less consumables than typical single engine solutions

STANDARD PARALLEL PACKAGE• To tackle even bigger jobs, the QAC TwinPowerTM has two

dedicated Atlas Copco controllers, including touchscreen functionality, so you can easily parallel with other generators. You have the choice of island mode or PMS (Power Management System). Each generator can run in parallel with mains, peak shaving, mains power export/import, fixed power and AMF (Automatic Mains Failure).

EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE• Designed for excellent cooling of

the engine/alternator, guaranteeing maximum power with no de-rating up to 50°C at an altitude of 500 m.

• This makes the generator ideal for use in extreme temperatures and at high altitudes, with reduced risk of performance loss due to high temperatures.

SERVICEABILITY• The QAC TwinPowerTM is designed for

easy service. Large access doors and custom service tools make for effortless maintenance and assured uptime.

• The positioning of the engine and alternator is set on opposite sides. Enabling multiple access points to all the main components.

High performance in intensive or stationary use

24/7 POWER AVAILABILITY• The service requirement is less than 2

hours of maintenance for every 500 hours of operation.

• Due to the TwinPower™ concept, it is possible to still benefit from 50% of the unit’s total capacity during maintenance operations.

QAC 1450 TwinPowerTM GeneratorThe electric VSD (Variable Speed Drive) motor-driven, cooling fan, adjusts the cooling flow to the specific requirements of the engine. It sets the QAC 1450 TwinPowerTM apart. It guarantees fuel savings up to 40% in variable load applications.

This model is specifically designed for intensive use in applications like independent power plants (IPP) and off-shore applications.

QAC 1100 TwinPower™ GeneratorFor sites with variable power needs, the QAC 1100 TwinPowerTM generator comprise two 500kVA generators inside a single container. The QAC 1100 is a fully-engineered package with an advanced control system that enables the two generators to work independently or in parallel with each other.

It enables operators to use up to 1MVA of power at anywhere between full load and low load, maximizing fuel efficiency and cutting associated running costs.
