Cobe oven does smoke a lot.
But double chamber cobe oven, does NOT.
It has two chamber as you see two hills, front and back.
Hand is showing back one.
Fire burns in back of bake chamber, and smoke need to come down the leap and it mix with more fresh air (see hole in
the metal door) and smoke reburn as it’s comes up thru chimney.
No smoke, except at the beginning of fire.
Need to know / cross section of chimney
had to have same cross-section as
hole in metal door.
Metal door are closing Front chamber and wooden door
(wood is good termic isolator) with aluminum as protection are closing second chamber.
When fire burns out remove ashes and put food inside.
You can make from iron some contruction (legs) and put it on chimney for cooking something else outside oven, but remember chimney must not be closed!
