The Analyze button has been removed and its features have been moved into the Add Panel. There is now only one Add button on the dashboard’s top bar.The Add panel is now a widescreen panel. When you open it, the left-hand navigation bar is by default on the “New” menu. There are 2 other available menus: “My creations” and “Apps”.

The New menu is composed of four blocks: • Reading app (No changes) This is where you manually enter an RSS feed URL or upload an OPML file – It is the equivalent of Add > Feeds

• MisoData app (No changes) Launches the MisoData wizard.

• Analytics app (Major changes)This is where the Analyze panel features have been moved to.

• Coming Soon: potions Clicking on this block currently opens the last DoT blog post in a new tab.

The Analyze panel

Dashboard è now the Within parameter

Keyword è Topic

2015-03-03 to now è Period

If you click on any of the parameters, a panel opens on the right of the page to set it up. For the Period parameter, you can either define a specific period or leave it to Any. “Any” means that the results will start from the beginning of the AutoSave period.

The Analyze panel

Once you have saved your parameters, a confirmation message is displayed. You can click on the app type - who, what, how, where and articles (i.e. filter) - you want to add to your dashboard or click on “Generate all apps” to create them all at once.

“My Creations” menu

My Creations used to be in the Add > Categories menu.All MisoData apps and apps created in the Ecosystem (e.g. multiple feed and custom apps) by the user are in this menu.

It’s actually the advanced mode of the Add > New > Analytics app that opens.

As before, your results are displayed in the central part of the page and you can still refine your search by using the facets located on the right hand bar.

New:

•  There is now a left-hand side bar which displays the 3 parameters for the query. No more “tab:” or “feed:” or other unfriendly operator to be manually entered to create an advanced filter.

•  You can now create all types of Analytics app from this window (bottom bar) - you are no longer limited to filters.

•  In app details, there used to be: Subject/From – to/ Field (Left image below) Now: Within (= Field) / Topic / Period (=from – to) (Right image below)

•  The query field is no longer displayed in the app settings. You must click on the 4-dot icon > Edit to open the wizard and edit the within/topic/period parameters.
