Swimming I love swimming so much. Today we went swimming I had lots of fun. We did backstroke and freestyle. I was nearly swimming fully. I just have to put my head under water and kick my legs higher. I love swimming because you feel refreshed and fit and healthy. Swimming is so much fun that I want to go there every day because the Leisure Centre is the best!! My favourite move is the pin drop. It is so much fun because you get to do a big splash. I can do a bomb. We did a lot of splashing. Do you like swimming?

Swimming
I like swimming. I like that you
can do lots of tricks, like front
flips and back slips. Also pin
drops are cool too. I even like
backstroke because you lie on
your back. You can even float in
the water. The water sometimes
is very cold or very hot. When
you do freestyle you kick and
make your hand go over your ears
and your fingers are straight.

Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden News
Garden classes have been busy weeding, sowing seeds,
harvesting, preparing raised beds, moving soil, watering, and pruning. Thank you to parents who bought produce
from our harvest market last Wednesday at 3.15pm.
Students will do it again next Wednesday. The last two to three weeks of term will be busy planting seedlings for term
1 harvest. Students need to remember that the garden beds are work areas and not play areas. Some plants are
being accidently damaged. Lastly, if you are available to
water in the holidays, there is a list to sign your name up on the notice board.
