Permitting

 404 Permits often required

 If  404 required, then 401 Certification required

 Contact Corps of  Engineers early  and discuss 

permitting in all dam removal projects

 Pre‐application coordination crucial  with Corps, DWQ and resource agencies such as  WRC and US 

Fish and  Wildlife Service
