Doors are a fundamental part of any building, for compartmentation to contain and control the spread of fire, maintain security or simply for privacy . We are proud to offer a diverse range of high perforrmance painted and veneered doors and doorsets with a severe rating suitable for almost every situation. Additionally, our craftsmen have the capabilities to beautifully and pain-stakingly refurbish or replicate doors to match existing designs and intricate detailing. All of our doors can be factory prepared and supplied pre-hung on stainless steel butt hinges of lift-off hinges along with a complimentary and co-ordinated range of ironmongery.

Laminated Doors Supplied with a choice of edging: The PVC facing can be postformed around hardwood lippings and sealedat the nosing edges with intumescentstrip. This creates a seal around the edge of the door for wet areas. The door can be lipped with exposed or concealed hardwood edges. Frames can be constructed of hardwood, softwood or mdf and can be wrapped, lacquered or primed on site for finishing. Laminated doors can be supplied with antibacterial finishes.

Veneered Doors Supplied with a choice of edging: The door can be lipped with exposed or concealed hardwood edges. Frames can be constructed of hardwood, softwood or mdf and can be wrapped, lacquered or primed on site for finishing. Additional inserts can be incorporated into the veneers to create decorative features.

Paint Grade Doors Doors can be supplied with MDF or ply faces and can be primed for finishing on site or factory finished. Frames can be constructed of hardwood, softwood or mdf and can be wrapped, lacquered or primed for on site finishing. Encapsulated Doors Encapsulated doors are thermally post formed along the four vertical edges. A 6 or 8mm radius is applied to the edges. Various products can be used to encapsulate the doors and frames ranging from textured PVC to high gloss laminates. Textured PVC coverings offer high

resistance to impacts and are often used in leisure centres, hospitals and universities. They also offer high resistance to chemical cleaners and so can be used in clinical environments. High impact plastic coverings can be supplied in a number of finishes from high gloss coverings to wood effect. Again, they offer a high degree of protection from impact and scratches and many of them are available with an antibacterial coating.

Bio Doors

Bio doors are available for installations where cleanliness is imperative. This is an antimicrobial PVC covering which is 2.5 mm thick,creating an antimicrobial coating which will last for the life time of the door set (even if scratched). An antimicrobial coating not only has antibacterial qualities but also prevents the growth of mould and fungus.

Louvred Doors

Louvred doors are manufactured to specific design requirements and dimensions. The doors can be made from hardwood, softwood or cut from exterioir blanks. The louvres are made from hardwood to avoid any defects caused by knots in the timber. Available with or without a centre rail and with a sealed cassette system.

Armoured Doors Encapsulated doors and laminated doors can be supplied with invisible steel linings. The linings can be supplied at various incriments up to ballistic protection. In this way the security of an installation can be increased whilst still maintaining the aesthetics required to match other doors in the installation. Where vision panels are required, the specifcation of the glass can also be increased up to ballistic level.

Lead Lined Doors Encapsulated, laminated, veneered, paint grade doors and frames can all be made with a concealed lead lining. Vision panels can also be supplied with lead glass. This allows the aesthetics of the installation to be maintained whilst allowing for specialist installations such as x-ray rooms.

Vision panels can be supplied with standard bolection beading, flush beading, v-groove glazing and full flush glazing.

Beading

All vision panels can be supplied with either bolection of flush beading. Vision panels fitted to encapsulated doors can also be supplied with full flush glazing or v- groove flush glazing. This can be supplied as fire rated doors (triple glazed with fire rated glass in the centre) or non fire rated (no centrail piece of glass), termed as clear glaze. Clear glaze can be supplied using perspex on all encapsulated doors or using glass on encapsulated doors with the v-groove option.
