ACADEMIC AND ATHLETIC OFFERINGS Academic Summer School Opportunities SMCHS students can enroll in a self-paced health OR personal finance class over the summer. The modular design of both courses provides flexibility for students to complete the coursework over the summer and at their own pace. SMC has joined in a partnership with a Catholic Virtual Academy. At the beginning of each module is a section dedicated to the relevant teachings of the Catholic Church. This provides students a lens or mental framework for learning. The cost of the summer school course is $40. Please email Mrs. Fouts at [email protected] to sign up! NEW!! Blended Education Opportunities for the 2019-2020 School Year SMCHS will offer blended education to students starting in the 2019-2020 school year. Beyond challenging course content, a blended education experience fosters important life skills, and provides opportunities to learn with students from Catholic schools across North America. Blended education courses will help students develop time management skills, discipline, self-advocacy, and more. Enrolling in blended education courses helps students mature into independent learners that will serve them well in college and beyond. Students enrolling in blended education can work on the course content during their scheduled study hall or at home. Please click on this link to view our blended education course catalog: Blended Ed Course Catalog

Summer Athletics SMCS students have the opportunity to maintain and improve their athletic skills during the summer months through the STEPS program. STEPS is offered for ¼ credit for SMCHS students. Review the 2019-20 summer program brochure for more information/paper registration or register online.
