Don’t flush THAT! Don’t drain THAT!Typical domestic
waste pipes are only 100mm (4 inches) wide (approximately the
size of this circle), so unsurprisingly when inappropriate items are flushed down the toilet
or poured down the drain blockages occur.
Blockages in the sewage system are unnecessary and easily avoided, by flowing the 3 P’s rule.
If in doubt -
BAG IT & BIN IT.Blockages can cause sewage system
breakdowns, pump failures and flooding of your home and garden with raw
sewage and dirty water.

Sanitary Items
Nappies Wipes
Cloths
Your Septic System
General Waste (even if labelled as flushable)If it is not one of the 3 Ps, bag the rubbish and put it in the bin
Medicines, Needles and SyringesReturn to your local pharmacy to dispose of them in the correct way.
Cooking Fat and GreaseAllow the fat to solidify and then scrape into the bin. Alternatively pour into a suitable container and then dispose of the fat and container in the bin.
