Customer Resources
Find gifts given by individuals, couples and foundations, and research the causes your
prospective donors support. Links make it easy to research recipients. You can also see
whether a donor gave in his/her own name, as part of a trust or foundation, or with a
spouse or partner, so you know how to approach that prospective donor.
Find new donors by screening for prospects who support causes or missions similar to
yours, and find organizations who are potential partners. Giving information includes
links to organizations for further research.
This is the heart of ProspectView Plus. Input a name and Integrated Search returns a
comprehensive listing of dozens of philanthropy and wealth markers, as well as links to
source documents and other information for further research. Detailed analytics estimate
giving capacity, while Who Knows Who can help you leverage your current supporters
for introductions to new prospects.
My Portfolio is a “library” of all of your prospect research. Detailed profiles of prospects
can be organized, sorted and filtered, as well as exported for further analysis and report-
ing.

Gift Search
Gift Search makes it simple to find all of the giving by an individual, foundation or organization in seconds. Advanced
logic makes it simple to search for an exact name only (Ford Foundation) or nicknames/related names (Ford Founda-
tion, Ford Foundation Fund, Henry Ford Foundation, etc.)
Clickable links take you to Google searches of both donors and recipients, while links to annual reports and other phi-
lanthropy source documents let you examine each gift in context. Information can be sorted and filtered, as well as ex-
ported as an Excel spreadsheet for further reporting or analysis.
With Gift Search, you can see who donates to similar or potential partner organizations, and see which organizations
your donors or potential donors support. You can also use Gift Search to see how your fundraising compares to similar
organizations.

Prospect Generator
How can you find prospective donors? By finding donors who support similar organizations or support organizations in
your area. Simply enter an organization or type of organization, then decide if you want to search nationally, by state or
within a certain radius of a zip code.
Click on the name of any donor and see what other organizations and causes that donor supports. Sort and filter lists to
pinpoint the potential donors you want to reach.
In seconds, you can find the donors who support similar organizations or similar missions, either nearby, in your state or
anywhere in the country.

Integrated Search
Integrated Search uses data from 30 philanthropic and wealth databases to produce detailed profiles of any prospect..
Enter a name and state — Integrated Search uses Whitepages.com to help you find the address — and in seconds you’ll
have a full research report on any prospect or donor.
Sophisticated models pinpoint giving capacity based on wealth and on prior giving, as well as a DS rating that high-
lights individuals with both the inclination and the capacity to give.
In addition, every data point has a Quality Score that shows how confident we are that the data belongs to an individual
in question, so prospect researchers and development officers can further research specific wealth or philanthropic
markers to ensure they have a complete profile of a prospect or donor.

Click on any category and Integrated Search provides in-depth philanthropic and wealth information from 30 databases.
Philanthropic data includes a confidence score which shows the likelihood of that piece of data matching your donor.
Where available, links are provided for further research.
Because data is updated regularly, existing reports can be refreshed with one click, ensuring you always have the most
current information on any donor or prospect. In addition, you can edit the confidence score of any piece of data, so if
you know a specific finding is or isn’t tied to a donor you can change it for more accurate analytics.
Most importantly, with DonorSearch you have unlimited access to Integrated Search, so you can search as many donors
or prospects as you wish.

In-depth Philanthropy and Wealth Data
At a glance, you can see a donor’s important philanthropic and wealth markers, including political and charitable giving,
real estate ownership, corporate and nonprofit board positions and more. Click on a donor’s name to open a Google
search of that person, or click on the name of a source document for a donation to see a pdf of that document.
Donation amounts are listed as a range when the source document lists donations that way. When exact amounts are
available, donations will be listed with a $1 range (a donation of $5,000 would be shown as $5,000-5,001).

My Portfolio
Integrated Search results are automatically compiled in an Excel-style table in My Portfolio. My Portfolio includes all of
the highlights from each person’s results, including key wealth and philanthropy data.
At a glance, you can review as many donors as you wish, and sort, filter or look for matches in any column. Results can
be easily exported for use in reports or other software.
Links to detailed wealth and philanthropic profiles are available with a click, and My Portfolio is automatically updated
every time you perform a new Integrated Search.
With My Portfolio, you can pinpoint the donors and potential donors you want to reach using virtually any criteria you
choose. Filter donors by philanthropy and state, for example, to plan a trip by a development officer to visit multiple
prospects. Find all of the airplane owners to invite to an airplane-themed event, or all of the Democratic or Republican
supporters for an event featuring a political candidate.
As you conduct more searches with Integrated Search, the results are automatically added to My Portfolio.

Executive Analysis
Executive Analysis is a new tool from DonorSearch that provides critical information about your entire donor file by
analyzing your data in three ways: by loyalty, by philanthropy and by wealth. This analysis is done automatically for all
screenings of batch files (not Integrated Search results). With Executive Analysis, you can see at a glance:
The giving potential of your current donor list
How much of that giving you’re capturing
The organizations and causes your donors support (besides yours)
The politicians and political causes your donors support
The likelihood of your donors giving major gifts
Other critical information depending upon your development strategy
Multiple charts illustrate and analyze the philanthropy and wealth of your screening results in several ways. Click on any
category in a chart to see a pop-up of the Top 50 donors in that category (for example, the Top 50 donors rated DS1-1).
Pop-ups include links to full research reports on each donor.
