The Donegal “Treble Hook” is a unique Fishing Tournament encom-passing all the modern fishing disciplines of Coarse, Game and Sea angling.

The tournament is for teams of three anglers and will be run on the “Species System” whereby the main prize will be awarded to the team who catch the greatest number of different fish species over the week. The event is a “catch and release” competition, with all fish being mea-sured by stewards at the time of capture, and returned alive to the water. Individual prizes and awards for unusual or outstanding fish will also be a feature of the event.

There are very few places in Europe where such an exciting competi-tion could be staged but we are certain that the great wealth and variety of untapped fishing in the Donegal Bay area of North Western Ireland will provide outstanding results, with many thrilling moments and happy memories for each and every competitor. With over 50 regularly caught species and an additional 30 “mini” species to try for, there is certainly something to interest everyone!
