TOP GUIDED

Top Guided windows are a s imple, e legant and user- fr iend ly des ign. Opening is contro l led by tracks and s l ides. When open ing the window the top of the sash s l ides downwards as the bottom of the sash opens outwards. Ad justab le fr ict ion i ronmongery a l lows an a lmost in f in i te cho ice o f open pos i t ions.

In everyday operat ion the fu l l y revers ib le window funct ions as a Top Guided window. However i t is poss ib le to turn the sash through 180 degrees to c lean the g lass from the ins ide.

F ixed L ight windows are idea l wherever max imum interna l l ight and so lar heat ga in is requ ired. F ixed L ights can be f i t ted with tr ick le vents for vent i lat ion.

S ide Hung windows are contro l led with tracks and s l ides. On windows over 478mm wide and 588mm high, the handle contro l led fr ict ion brake a l lows the window to be f i xed in any open pos i t ion.

This unit is based on a Side Light where the glass has been replaced with horizontal louvres exter-nally and an insect screen internally.

Internally two insulated doors, one above the other, can be opened in order to control ventilation. Both doors have a friction brake to hold the doors open in any position.

S ide Guided windows are contro l led by tracks and s l ides that a l low the window to be f i xed in any open pos i t ion. However, when opened, the h inge s ide of the sash moves toward the midd le to create an open ing that a l lows the g lass to be c leaned from the ins ide.

Windows over 743mm wide and 588mm high are f i t ted with an ad justab le fr ict ion brake contro l led by the handle.
