Architect Isay Weinfeld is responsible for the elegantly minimalistic designs of boutiques, hotels,

restaurants and homes throughout São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. His furniture design is clean

and angular and echoes the forms of 1950s Brazilian design. Born in São Paulo, he graduated from

the School of Architecture at Mackenzie University, where he later was professor of Theory of

Architecture. The recipient of multiple awards throughout his career, Weinfeld has been featured

in publications in Brazil and abroad, including in three separate volumes dedicated to his work.

Interiors of Domino Storage cabinets are finished in quarter-cut natural ash when specified

in any of three specialty wood finishes: Ebony, Morado and Walnut. Interiors of units

produced in Geiger’s standard veneer finishes match the exterior finish. Drawer boxes and

waste bins for all units are quarter-cut natural ash with a hand-rubbed, tung-oil finish.

Right-sized storage is the concept for Domino Storage, a cabinetry system designed around a smartly

edited array of rectangular modules. Like the rotated tiles in the game of dominoes, quarter-turned

wood fronts add playful and lively character. Domino Storage is offered in two heights (26 and 40

inches) and three widths (59, 89 and 118 inches). At each height are six versions, three with mixed

storage that combines file drawers with smaller compartments to house office components and

a waste bin, and three with shelf storage, a series of shelving units covered by single-door fronts.
