When installing the unit leave about 15 mm clearance between the rear of the cabinet and the furniture wall. Never place the drawer miniBar near a heat source to avoid that warm air enters the ventilation duct through the air inlet and impairs the cooling effect.

Sufficient ventilation can be accomplished even in furniture that reaches higher up. For cooling purposes, the air needs to flow freely around the cooling unit and exit unhindered at the top.

An air grille integrated in the furniture door ensures sufficient ventilation. Both miniBar and furniture door can be connected via a sliding hinge which opens furniture and miniBar door simultaneously.

Correct ventilation is essential for the proper cooling performance of a built-in miniBar.During the cooling process heat is generated at the condenser fins on the rear of the unit, which must be dissipated to the outside with sufficient airflow.If there is not enough space for the air to leave, the cooling performance will drop down and the energy consumption will rise. Inadequate ventilation can also impair the miniBar’s longevity.

To get the best performance the miniBar needs at least 200 cm2 free air inlet and this space should be kept until the air outlet.Behind the rear border part please leave a minimum distance of 20 mm to the furniture wall.

REOS – takes hotel safe security to a higher levelThe Dometic Remote Emergency Opening System is based on an innovative encryption system. This unique solution combines the advanced electronic system inte-grated in all proSafe MD models with the latest online technology. In case of emergency, an authorised staff member enters the REOS code on the safe’s keypad. As a result, the safe generates a ten-digit code to be entered on a password-protected Web page. The screen finally shows the emergency access code which can be

used to open the safe. Each REOS opening is recorded and stored on a protected server.

The ten-digit code, generated by the safe upon entry of the master code can now optionally be keyed in by mobile phone on the password- protected Web page. All operations effected on a safe must be documented – for your own security and for your insurance provider. This is where Dometic’s Premium Audit system offers a truly convenient solution.

All proSafe MD models from the Advanced and Premium range feature a special microchip with storage capacity for up to 1,000 events. That means: any operation (locking, unlocking, emergency-opening requests, etc.) can be tracked and audited at any time – even over a number of years. The information is transferred from the safe to a protected server via the Dometic SD card device,

which works with common SD cards.

All proSafe MD models from the Advanced and Premium range have a matching interface for connection to the SD card reader. The audit protocol can be printed out at any time, simply by using your PC’s printer. This avoids the need for special audit trail printers.

This innovative solution can convert existing, unused or built in furniture into a lockable compartment for larger items of value. Using a 4 digit personal security code and a LED display the SafeLock uses the same tried and tested technology from the Dometic safe range. The Dometic SafeLock is easy to install, and ideal for storing computer cases, rucksacks or any larger items of value. With a slim design and a motorised locking system the Safelock offers convenience, maximum security and peace of mind to residents, patients or guests. The SafeLock can be opened in an emergency using the Master Code and Master Key and has optional features like Remote Emergency Opening System (REOS Code) through Safe Management (SAM) and the possibility to audit the last 1000 events with the Premium Audit System.
