OBJECTIVEConvene domestic violence experts, service providers, policy makers, and technologists to build standards for reporting and sharing information on domestic violence, and raise awareness and participation from organizations and individuals.

GOALS • Increase awareness of the prevalence of domestic violence• Increase awareness of the needs of the survivor community• Increase commitments and resources from corporations and individuals• Demonstrate the potential of tech tools in abuse prevention and

response• Demonstrate the need for standards of collecting and sharing

information • Build commitments to define and share metadata standards• Host a separate, smaller session with service providers and technologists

to develop suggested data collection and cataloguing standards, and commit to build prototypes in the 90 days following the conference.
