SVdP Christmas Appeal:
‘Making Christmas Wishes Come True’
For many families in our local community facing
household battles to meet basic needs, paying off winter
energy bills and experiencing increasing housing stress,
providing for Christmas is often beyond their financial
capacity.
Can you make a difference for such families by making a
donation to the St Vincent de Paul Society’s Christmas
Appeal?
Donations may be placed in the church ‘poor’ box, given
to a Conference member or dropped into the Centre in
Bourke Street.
FIRST SUNDAY IN ADVENT
NOTICE FOR ALL EXTRORDINARY MINISTERS OF
HOLY COMMUNION
There are yellow forms in an envelope in the sacristy. All
Ministers of Holy Communion must fill them out each time
they take Communion to people in their homes and then
return the form to the presbytery.
The list of Ministers of Holy Communion in St Patrick’s Parish
until November 2018 are as follows:
Maureen Campbell, Eric Morgan, Jacqui McConnell, Kerry
Muir, Patsie Newsome, John McPhee, Maria Mowle, Brian
Orvad, Sandra Orvad, Warren McAllister, Elizabeth
McCarthy, John Adams, Brenda Wirth, Stephen Hogan,
Maureen Matthewson, Irene Owens & Carolyn Hamilton.
These people have filled out the green form, undertaken the
training, have been commissioned during Mass and given
letters.
Beginning in December these are the only ministers for our
parish. We shall only be selecting from this list those to
administer Communion and the Chalice during Mass and
those who are able to take Communion outside of Mass.
