“…Some say, [my] letters are weighty and forceful, but in person [I am] unimpressive and my speaking amounts to nothing…”

(2 Corinthians 10:10).

But is Paul fazed by such harshness? Not really. Why in Galatians 1:10 he declares – “I am not trying to please people. I want to please God. Do you think I am trying to please people? If I were doing that, I would not be a servant of Christ.”

(Galatians 1:10, Contemporary English Version)

Why this woman “…has done all she could by pouring perfume on my body…” Jesus notes in Mark 14:9. And because of such sacrifice, such devotion “…You may be sure that…people will remember what she has done. And they will tell others.”

(Mark 14:9, Contemporary English Version)
