Mark 16:15-16 He said to them, Go into all the world and preach the gospel to

all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but

whoever does not believe will be condemned.

QUESTION: According to these words, does the gospel that

is believed include baptism?

Acts 2: 38-41

Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the

name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you

will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you

and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the

Lord our God will call.” With many other words he warned

them; and he pleaded with them, “Save yourselves from this

corrupt generation.” Those who accepted his message were

baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number

that day.

QUESTION: According to these words, did Peter’s message

accepted by those who heard him include baptism?

Acts 8:12 But when they believed Philip as he proclaimed the good news

Acts 8:35-36 Then Philip began with that very passage of Scripture and told

him the good news about Jesus. As they traveled along the road,

they came to some water and the eunuch said, “Look, here is

water. What can stand in the way of my being baptized?”

QUESTION: According to these words, does the good news

about Jesus include baptism?

Acts 16:31-34 They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be

saved—you and your household.” Then they spoke the word of

the Lord to him and to all the others in his house. At that hour

of the night the jailer took them and washed their wounds; then

immediately he and all his household were baptized. The jailer

brought them into his house and set a meal before them; he was

filled with joy because he had come to believe in God—he and

his whole household.

QUESTION: According to this account, did believing in the

Lord Jesus, in God, and the word of the Lord spoken to the

jailer and his household include something about baptism?

Acts 18:8 Crispus, the synagogue leader, and his entire household

believed in the Lord; and many of the Corinthians who heard

Paul believed and were baptized.

QUESTION: According to these words, did Paul's message

that was heard and believed by the Corinthians include

baptism?

Acts 19:2-3 “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” They

answered, “No, we have not even heard that there is a Holy

Spirit.” So Paul asked, “Then what baptism did you receive?”

Romans 6:3-7

Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ

Jesus were baptized into his death? We were therefore buried

with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ

was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we

too may live a new life.

For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will

certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his. For

we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the

body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no

longer be slaves to sin— because anyone who has died has been

set free from sin.

QUESTION: According to these words, did Paul’s message

to the Romans include baptism?

Galatians 3:26-27

So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for

all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed

yourselves with Christ.

QUESTION: According to these words to the Galatians, did

faith in Christ Jesus include baptism?

Colossians 2:12-13

….having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were

also raised with him through your faith in the working of God,

who raised him from the dead. When you were dead in your

sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you

alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins…

QUESTION: According to these words, did Paul’s message

to the Colossians include baptism?
