Davey Lopes has joined the Dodgers coaching staff. He will be next years first base coach.

Lopes played for the Dodgers for 9 years and has come back to coach first base.

Pitcher Hiroki Kuroda has signed a 1 year $12 million contract with the Dodgers.

He was a free agent after completing his 3 year $35.3 million deal that started in 2008.

Pitcher Jon Garland rejoined the Dodgers after leaving in 2010 to play for the Padres.

He signed a 1 year $5 million contract with an additional $3 million and has an $8 million option for 2012.

Second baseman Ryan Theriot was traded to the Cardinals for pitcher Ryan Hawksworth.

Former Giants shortstop has signed with the Dodgers. A three year $21 million deal. He is the Dodgers new second basemen.

The Dodger have their eye on two players. One of them is Jason Varitek (right). The other one is Johnny Damon (left). They have not reached an agreement but hopefully they do soon.
