Safety standards in our schoolI fill in my report regarding the safety standards in our school considering the recent classes size increase and I will present my observations and suggestions on improving this school's safety.Firstly, I must say that I noticed that many classes lack proper first aid kits or they do not have them at all. My idea is to get first aid kits because it is important as we need them in case of minor or serious injuries almost on a daily basis. The second issue we must take notice of is the cabinet misplacement. I must insist on the fact that cabinets shouldn't have any place near the classrooms doors as they may fall and block the only exit in case of an earthquake. I encountered this issue in several of our classes. The school must take care of this as soon as possible in case of an eventual emergency.Regarding the fire-fighting equipment and fire exits. I suggest the school should be equipped with more fire extinguishers, one in each class, if possible. Now only the hallways are equipped with fire extinguishers, which is bad. Also, studies have shown that in case of emergency people tend to crowd at the nearest exit. So more emergency exits lead to a faster and more efficient evacuation. Overall, the situation looks promising and I hope for it to get better. Taking these measures will surely secure a safer environment for the students. This investment is of utmost importance as we should put their safety first.
