2. Landing board (CAN 1)
When a landing ribbon connector is used, each landing housing must be numbered, so that the corresponding level is known. To do this, you must modify the addresses of each housing when fitting the ribbon cable.
- Allocation in simple accessThe address of the lowest board will be "1". è
- Allocation in double passing accessIn this configuration, B landings will be inserted in between levels. For example, the OA level will be called 1 and 1B will be called 2.
It is then necessary to go into the menus: Adjustment, Level

G. Description of the interfaceThe QI touch board has a touch screen for setting up the device's parameters. The interface can also be accessed via embedded web pages using the Internet browser on your computer, smartphone, or tablet by entering the address http://192.168.44.201/. Two methods of connection are possible:
- Connection to a computer by cable: With a standard network cable (not supplied), connect the Ethernet port of the Qi touch board to the Ethernet port of the computer. Configure the computer’s network as follows (IP address: 192.168.44.1, Mask: 255.255.255.0) (for your computer’s network configuration, follow the instructions provided by your operating system supplier) - Wireless connection to a computer, smartphone, or tablet device: Connect the Wi-Fi dongle (supplied as an optional extra) to one of the USB ports (board restart required). On the touchscreen, go to the menu “Settings, General” and make a note of the “Wi-Fi SSID” and “Wi-Fi password”. On your computer, tablet device, or smartphone, select the “Wi-Fi SSID” of the Qi touch board from the list of available networks and enter the “Wi-Fi password” (for Wi-Fi configuration, follow the instructions provided by your operating system supplier). The menus are interactive, responding to the entries that you make; that is why certain parameters will be masked or displayed, depending on a parameter entered earlier. All inputs and outputs are assignable. A choice is offered according to the type of connector (inputs or outputs). It is then possible to change the allocation of an overload function, for example, by always selecting the board and the connector. The Up push button and Down push button connectors are reversible. They can be used as inputs or outputs. Then you can use an output intended as an "Up push button" (BPM0 for example) to control an "indicator out of order" output or to be a "landing priority" input.Depending on the valued to be modified, you will see a keyboard, a drop-down list or a tick box appear.
This is how the screen works:

H. Description of the menus
1. Mounting
This menu is the first one to use when starting your installation. It contains all the data necessary for fitters to start the device, right through to normal operation.A step counter allows you to locate where you are in the work to be done and to know what the next steps are. Until step 7/8, landing and cabin calls are inoperative. Here are the contents of each step:
STEP 1 "MACHINE ROOM AND SELECTION"
The choice of lift range pre-configures a part of the engine plate. Only the motors available within a range will appear. If you are carrying out a refurbishment, choose modernisation and then your motor. Either a motor from the Sodimas range (GT300 etc.) or a standard asynchronous or synchronous motor from another supplier. You must then fill in the motor's parameters manually. The "motor parameters" menus are filled in automatically and do not display when the motor is known.
Sodimas range(VMSpeed, Medium, etc.)
OR "générique 81.20" for devices other than the Sodimas range but
subject to 81.20 OR "modernisation" for
devices being modernised
Electrical / hydraulic

Name of the Sodimas motor or "asynchronous"
for an asynchronous motor other than Sodimas
or "synchronous" for a synchronous motor other
than Sodimasnot present
Mains voltage
Number of levels
Allows the direction of rotation of the motor to
be reversed
58
STEP 2 AND 3 "DOORS"
Select your car and landing doors. Here you choose the type of door installed (wired or CAN), the allocation of door opening and closing controls, limit switches, time intervals. The landing door menu lets you choose the distributed doors by level.
STEP 4 "LEARNING MOTOR"
Motor learning allows a tuning pole to be produced for synchronous motors (gearless or with reducing gears) or auto-tuning for asynchronous motors to be carried out (with or without encoder). The type of learning is suggested automatically, according to the "motor type" parameter.A sequence guides you through all the states to be achieved. Note: when doing a pole tuning, move the motor manually by opening the brake when the instruction is requested.
Reminder: pôle tuning 1 pour moteur asynchrone gearless pôle tuning 1 ou 4 pour moteur synchrone gearless pole tuning 4 for a synchronous winch auto tuning 3 for with or without encoder asynchronous motor
Remember: After each step, your device will operate in job site control system. You can carry out your work in the shaft.
STEP 5 "LEARNING LEVELS"
Position learning is offered as soon as the "selection" parameter indicates absolute type counting. This learning allows the mother board to know the position of the levels accurately. If the sensor chosen is "Solimax", it must firstly position the device at the bottom and top stops.
Type of pre-configured pump unit
59
STEP 6 "LEARNING SPEED"
Speed learning is offered as soon as the "selection" parameter indicates absolute type counting. This learning allows you to know the maximum speed usable in your installation. The result is expressed in millimetres per second.Note: the maximum speed is not necessarily the device speed. The speed of your device must be adapted in the "adjustment, machine room, inverter, curve" menu.
STEP 7 "LEARNING SOLIMAX"
The levels learnt by the QI Touch board in step 4 must now be learnt by the secured sensor. You only need to validate the levels in the car at each stop.
STEP 8 "LEARNING LOAD CELL"
Depending on the inverter used, the board suggests that the inverter does the weighing. This procedure is compulsory for some full load devices such as VMSpeed or Vspace.Follow the procedure and enter the maximum car weight to have better measuring accuracy.
2 Settings
This menu brings together all the adjustments possible via the QI touch. The data entered in the assembly are picked up and distributed in the adjustment menus. It is intended for fine adjustments, allocations of inputs/outputs when adding a function, time interval, equipment configuration, etc.Menus are created by the location in a shaft. For example: a car display is in the car menu and then signalling.
contains adjustments for car doors, car displays, supervision, the button
box and dwell times associated with the car
Contains adjustments for the motor, brake, trajectory, inverter,
mother board inputs/outputs
Extends the landing menu. Allows adjustment of all elements per level,
displays, fireman, altitude, landing doors, fire, etc.

3 Operation
This menu is intended for maintenance and return to service. It includes fault management, input/output supervision, testing and tools (forcing).
CLEARING FAULTS AND RETURNING TO SERVICE
In the fault menu, you can clear all the faults present by selecting the waste bin. When a Solimax fault is active, the Solimax is reset automatically when faults are cleared to the waste bin.The same is true for the fault history.
Gives a view of the input/output states of
the boards but also the customisation of the
variables to be supervised
This is where you run the tests to be done when
carrying out checks. Brakes, adhesion, end
slowing, etc.
Allows faults and help to be viewed and cleared.

Some faults require a "hardware" reset. Then the "Put in operation" menu must be used and the procedure followed. The fault to be cleared must be selected and the required buttons actuated.
The faults concerned are uncontrolled movement of the car, resetting the reduced reserves, resetting the governor, locking the governor, etc.
SAVING YOUR CONFIGURATION
At any moment, you can archive the data from your board to an SD card. The "restore" menu lets you save, delete or recall a configuration. This saving also allows you to copy and paste the parameters from one installation to another one.
Menu “restore all parameters” permit to have only parameters.Menu “restore all” permit to have parameters, settings values and learning valuesRestore points are always created on the SD card. It is possible to move them on to the USB key via the "manage restore points" menu.

I. Entry into service
To enter a device equipped with a QI touch into service, every field in the assembly menu must be filled in.With each field selected, a filter operates to suggest the most appropriate configuration for your installation. - Where a full load device is concerned, the data are supplied in the installation plan. Start by entering the range (medium, VMspeed, EEsy (machine room) and then the type of motor.
- Where a refurbishment is concerned, you must enter "modernisation" and then "synchronous" or "asynchronous" motor.
The motor parameters then appear and allow you to enter all your motor's parameters.Continue to enter the door data and then start the required learning operations. Each successful learning provides access to the next learning.
Note: do not try to run learning operations in a different order. The board will block all operations.
