Installation Ubuntu Server 14.04 LTS First Step : Booting use media installation with USB Flashdisk or CD/DVD. After succes boot from USB Flashdisk or CD/DVD, choose Install Ubuntu Server. And then choose language ENGLISH.

Second Step : And then choose location. In this installation, we choose Indonesia.

Because in this installation is used different combination for configuration languages and configuration location, so we choose standart setup like picture as below.

Third Step : Choose keyboard layout, if this installation process show picture like as below. Select NO

Generally in Indonesia using keyboard layout English type, so we choose also like that.

Fourth Step : Inspection of installation media and configuration network. Next installation process will active media installation, call the initial configuration, call installer component from media installation, and setup network. In configuration network there is two option setup, namely manual configuration network and automatic configuration network.

If PC which will installed connect router. And the router provides a DHCP service, so it will can automatic IP, netmask, and gateway.

Fifth Step : Next step create new account and password.

Create new account user besides account root.

Configuration encrypt folder /home. Function from encrypt folder namely make plain text became non-readable text.

Sixth Step : Configuration timezone, we chooose Jakarta.

Seventh Step : Hard disk partitioning. In hardisk partitioning there is four option : Guided use entire diskHard disk partitioning automatically done by the system. Guided use entire disk and set up LVMHard disk partitioning automatically done by the system with LVM (Logical Volume Manager) feature. Guided use entire disk and setup encrypt LVMSame with guided use entire disk and set up LVM, but partition will encrypted. So any other cannt read.

ManualHard disk partitioning do our own.In here we choose Manual, the following is the partition that will be created. Root partition (/) : largely program used in this partition. Boot partition (/boot) : In this partition used for booting the first time. Home partition (/home) : In this partition used for save all your data. Eighth Step : Start installation process Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

Ninth Step : Configuration proxy, leave empty and then select CONTINUE

Tenth Step : Configuration update process Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, in here we choose installation OpenSSH and LAMP Server. If you will select software, you use prees [spasi]+[enter].

Eleventh Step : Configuration MySQL password.

Twelfth Step : Install GRUB Loader

Thirteenth Step : Finishing the Installation.
