Both teams come into the game in search of their first win as the Tigers have dropped two games and the Bruins are 0-1. Bellevue lost their season opener to No. 12 Grand View University. The game was scoreless at halftime before the Vikings broke through for two goals in the second half. Scott Robertson had five saves in goal for Bellevue. The Bruins were out-shot in the game, 11-1, with their lone shot attempt coming in the first half. After going 8-10 last year, Bellevue returns six players this year who earned all- conference honors, headlined by Alan Carr and Manuel Lira. Game Recap - Montana trip - August 18 & 20 Doane College vs. University of Great Falls The Tigers fell to the University of Great Falls, 3-0. Great Falls limited the Tiger of- fensive attack, holding Doane to five shots on goal. The Argos posted 18 shots on goal as they scored once in the first half and twice in the second half. UGF had three corner kicks compared to two for the Tigers. Casey Clark (JR/Denair, Calif.) picked up 10 saves in goal and the Tigers were cred- ited with five team saves. Jose Pena picked up four saves in goal for the Argos. Aaron Carman (SR/Omaha, Neb.) and Jake Novak (SR/Omaha, Neb.) led the Tigers with two shot attempts, both of Carman’s were on goal. Doane College vs. No. 24 Rocky Mountain College Rocky Mountain College broke a scoreless tie at halftime by scoring four times in the second half to collect a win in their opener. Doane fell to 0-2 on the year. The Tigers were held to four shots on goal in the game while Rocky Mountain had eight. They out-shot Doane on the day, 16-10. In the second half, Doane looked like they were going to get on the board but an off-sides call against the Tigers eliminated the goal. RMC took the lead in the 60th minute as Evan Connolly scored. Jack Clancy added a goal in the 73rd minute and the Battlin’ Bears sealed the game as Mason Luse scored twice to close out the game. Doane College vs. Bellevue University
