by almost 50%, according to the FDLE. Crime Cut in Half!

Implemented county-wide fleet card for gas, saving money and
increasing fiscal accountability. Teleconferencing saves hundreds
of hours of commuting time, saving money, gas and vehicle wear and
tear. Eighth perfect audit in a row. Going paperless requires less
storage space, lower supply costs and less wear and tear on office
equipment. On line training for officers means less travel time,
less instructor costs and less overtime. Added benefit: more time

High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area grant: $21,003,797.00
HIDTA investigates major drug and money laundering investigations
in South Florida, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. Sheriff
Peryam is the Chair of the South Florida HIDTA Board Note: MCSO
receives between 1.5% to 2.0% in administrative fees from this
grant. Other Grants: approximately $2 million, including: Jail
