Is Goal Setting Important?

GOALS FOR YOUR EIGHTH GRADE YEAR(first grade of your eighth grade year) (12pts.)

Please think about where you would like to go and how you are going to get there. (High school, but what subjects interest you, then college, possibly an academic major.)

One way to increase your chances of getting there is by setting some goals.

On a sheet of paper, please list at least three academic goals and three non-academic goals. (6 pts.) Circle your “frog”.

Explain in detail how you are going to achieve these goals. (6 pts.)

On a sheet of paper, I would like you to describe in detail how you are going to achieve your academic goals. Think about creating a plan to move you forward toward these goals. In other words, how are you going to adjust your lifestyle to achieve your goals?

Journal Entries must be a minimum of a well written half page.
