VisionTo come together as ONE BODY (Unicorpus) to use our diverse gifts to alleviate the suffering of the sick and the afflicted

To provide Affordable, Ethical, Evidence Based, Compassionate and Holistic health services to our Urban and Rural population through Consultations ( Medical and Dental),  Physiotherapy, Home Care, Palliative Care and In-Patient services.

Our MissionAs one body (with one mind, one accord and one passion) we will work to develop an innovative and sustainable health care model with the following mission.

TO THE PATIENTS: To provide and promote Accessible, Ethical, Affordable, Evidence Based, Holistic Health Care with Empathy.

TO THE EMPLOYEES: To provide them and their families a professional, yet homelike environment, which is a self-perpetuating and a learning environment for them to excel in their work. We also want to establish loving relationships to strike a fine balance between work and life, thereby contribute towards their individual growth as well as the growth of the organization.

TO THE SOCIETY: To help communities achieve the goal of “Know and Own Your Health,” by encouraging and facilitating them to participate in health care dialogue.

TECHNOLOGY, TRAINING, RESEARCH: To continuously include Technology, Research and Training in all our endeavors to fulfill the above mentioned vision.

Our Values• Faith • Compassion

• Servant Leadership

• Teamwork

• Pursuit of excellence

• Innovation • Integrity

• Sustainability

Our Story• Propelled by the vision of Late Dr. Ida Scudder, a group

of 4 Doctors from CMC Vellore had the burning desire to give back to the society. While they were scattered professionally in different parts of the globe, in the year 2013, it so happened that their paths converged in Hyderabad. It was during that time, this team met 5 more professionals both Medical and Non-Medical from different spheres who also shared the same vision and formed a Core Group.

• This Core Group of 9 people held three workshops inviting people from all walks of life (Medical, Clergy, Lawyers, Home Makers, Government Employees, Business Men etc) and asked them one single question, i.e; “What is the kind of medical facility that people are looking forward to?” In this direction we formed an online group named, “let us all join hands”, and continued these discussions. We also conducted ground research through pilot demographic studies and free health camps.

• From these interventions, we found that there is a need for Affordable Ethical, Evidence Based, Compassionate and Holistic Health Care. Based on these inputs, in the year 2015, “Unicorpus Health Foundation,” (UHF) was established as a Non-Profit Organisation.

• Group of students from Ross School of Business, University of Michigan, U.S.A, had visited and studied our project in Feb 2016 and helped us refine our operational model.

How Different Are We?• Registered as a Non-Profit

Company, the organization runs on principles of self sustainability and the core members do not take any monetary benefit from the organization.

• Good team of consultants (Medical and Dental). Many of the consultants offer free services to Unicorpus Health Foundation.

• Consultation and Diagnostics fee are affordable. Poor patients are highly subsidized.

• Good time is spent with patients in counselling and the focus in on holistic healing and not physical healing alone.

• Emphasis on “ Know and Own Your Health,” through awareness programs and health education thus helping patients and their families to take informed decisions in prevention rather than relying only on curative services.

Testimonials

Friendly staff and doctor’s are very understanding they will spend enough time with the patients. We never felt it as a hospital environment, it is like a holy place. Specifically, thanks to Dr. Rajinikanth sir for treating my husband.

The doctors here are very helpful. We had a good consultation with the dentist for very low rates. I also was suggested and provided a Unifloss for my teeth.

I wanna rate it 6 out of 5... their warm welcome and care towards patients make you feel they are family... and nominal consultation fee is cherry on cake.
