Management Plans

The combination of the existing management plans designed to meet the requirements of our customers and our business as well as the established company wide procedures and policies and the requirements of our technical obligations under the relevant Australian Standards, licenses and certifications ensure DMQ has the capability to comply with this tender. DMG’s Human Resources Plan outlines the purpose and responsibilities required to deliver on our values and commitments. It nominates what policies and procedures will be used to put the plan into effect and the Industrial Agreements that will be used to manage its employees across Australia. It should be noted that David Moss has been operating for almost 65 years and has a number of long serving loyal staff in its organisation whom have grown with the company. The company has an unblemished record with regard to industrial disputes during its existence. DMG’s Environmental Plan outlines the goals of the plan and who within the organisation is responsible for delivering on them. It covers all of DMQ’s production and warehousing facilities. DMG’s Health & Safety Plan outlines how we will ensure the safety of our employees, suppliers and customers who we come into contact during the normal course of conducting business. DMG’s Quality Plan is the framework in which we deliver what is regarded as best practice in the industry. DMGs pipe is commonly referred to as “the best in market” for presentation, roundness, butt and electrofusion weldability and compliance with Australian Standards.

DMG has been supplying quality PE Pressure Pipe for many years and its rigorous quality management system has been the backbone of our reputation. The combination of these major management plans and the existing regime of standard operating procedures (SOP) and working company policies ensures that DMG has the business planning structure to deliver on the requirements of any project or supply requirements.

Operational Performance

DMG’s ability to supply and meet the demand requirements is best determined by analysing four (4) main areas;

Raw Material Supply

Manufacturing Capacity

Past Performance

Resourcing Raw Material Supply The availability of reliable and quality PE100 raw material is critical to the performance of any PE PRESSURE pipe manufacturer. DMG has forged strong and loyal relationship with its raw materials suppliers. Our raw materials are of the highest quality PE100 Resins available both locally and internationally and DMG’s relationship allows us to purchase in bulk, rolling shipments at very competitive prices. As part of DMG’s long standing relationship with our raw material supplier, we have been able to build a detailed testing and performance history of the products used to manufacture PE Pressure Pipe. DMG clearly understands the required raw material characteristics and uses these in its quality management planning system to ensure conformance with all relevant standards. Manufacturing Capacity The David Moss Group is the 3rd largest manufacturer and supplier of PE pipe up to 1200mm diameter to SDR7.4 or PN25 with a total capacity of 50,000 tonnes per annum nationally.
