Valve nose shape and opening comply withAmerican Petroleum Institute standard (API RP-1004) enabling Dixon's API valves to interchange with competitor itemsmade to the same specification. Two styles are available; a load model without handle and, a load/unload model with ahandle to allow manual opening.• Unique flow and fluid level sight indicator are available• Load/unload versions feature an ergonomically curved handle that opens with a short 62° stroke. Can be ordered with a

Gravity drop adapters attach and seal directly against openable API's and allow drop hose with standard cam and groovecouplers to clamp on and transfer petroleum from the API. Dixon manufactures two styles of gravity drop adapters; a standardone-piece and a two-piece bolt together design with sight glass. Both are Dixon quality cast construction with bronze camarms and Buna O-ring seals (Viton® O-rings available upon request).Standard One Piece Body• Quality cast aluminum body with inside lip to hang on API while clamping• Inexpensive replacement of Buna seal (Viton® seal available)• Bronze cam arms with stainless steel pins and finger rings

Drop Elbows and AccessoriesDrop elbows connect to the underground tank fill collar on one end and to the tanker drop hose at the other. They allowconvenient hose connection and prevent hose damage due to kinks. Bayco brand elbows are built tough for consistentpositive locking using solid bronze arms with modular construction for easy, low cost maintenance. Locking mechanisms, camarms and bottom assemblies are interchangeable.

• 6000EXT: Extension Kit (see page 11) Provides extra height for deep fill boxes, kit increases elbow groundclearance by approximately 3". Can be used with all standard height 6000/6200/6500 series drop elbows.

• 6200SLK: Safety Latch Kit (see page 11) Locks the side lever of the 6200/6400 series elbows.• 6200-17: for standard height 6000/6200/6500 series elbows• 6200X-17: Anti Spill Tube Kit for tall 6200/6500 series elbows. Tube kit fits inside the base of 6000/6200/6500 series

elbows and extends the drop point of the fuel delivery to a point below the adapter within the fill box.

Self-Locking Drop Elbows

• Strong arm design increases the strength of the locking armcomponents.

• Arm hinge points use a double yoke designed to increasestrength. There are no side bolts or casting bosses to break.

• No need for the operator to engage or set the lockingmechanism because the 6500 series automatically locks thearm onto the fill adapter when the arm is rotated into thelocking position.

• Ergonomic arm design contains a lock release lever that theoperator can engage or disengage by simply gripping thelocking arm. Since the locking mechanism is tucked insidethe locking arm it can not be accidentally released.

• Self-locking arm prevents the elbow from popping off due to ahydraulic surge when the underground storage tank overfillvalve slams shut.

• Easy to service - all gaskets and repair parts are common tothe product line.

Overfill detection for road tankers is a secondary emergency shut-off system used to prevent overfilling of tanker compart-ments during the terminal loading process. The system consists of overfill sensing devices, which are electronically connected to controls at the terminal through a plugand socket connection. Often on board tanker monitors are employed to inform on the loading process and provide diagnosticdata should a problem occur. Monitors also translate electronic signal formats for different operating systems which may existbetween the trailer and terminal. The two signal formats used are known as optic and thermistor and are defined by APIRP1004. FloTech products meet NFPA and API RP1004 specifications for bottom loading and are approved by FM and CSA.

The Bayco brand ball nozzle uses a 1" full port ball valve for high flow rate at a given inlet pressure. The internal flow path iscomputer designed to provide low pressure drop across the nozzle. Lower pressure drop permits higher flow rates at lowerpressure, reducing foaming or backups.Our unique swivel design permits low temperature operation without leakage around the O-ring seals. The swivel freely rotateseven at temperatures as low as -40°F and pressures as high as 100 PSI. Through-hardened chrome steel roller balls andhardened carbon steel ball race provide long service life.

LIMITED WARRANTY

Dixon Valve and Coupling Company, (herein called "Dixon") warrants the products described

herein, and manufactured by Dixon to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a

period of one (1) year from date of shipment by Dixon under normal use and service. It's sole

obligation under this warranty being limited to repairing or replacing, as hereinafter provided, at

its option any product found to Dixon's satisfaction to be defective upon examination by it,

provided that such product shall be returned for inspection to Dixon's factory within three (3)

months after discovery of the defect. The repair or replacement of defective products will be

made without charge for parts or labor. This warranty shall not apply to: (a) parts or products not

manufactured by Dixon, the warranty of such items being limited to the actual warranty extended

to Dixon by its supplier; (b) any product that has been subject to abuse, negligence, accident, or

misapplication; (c) any product altered or repaired by others than Dixon; and (d) to normal

maintenance services and the replacement of service items (such as washers, gaskets and

lubricants) made in connection with such services. To the extent permitted by law, this limited

warranty shall extend only to the buyer and any other person reasonably expected to use or

consume the goods who is injured in person by any breach of the warranty. No action may be

brought against Dixon for an alleged breach of warranty unless such action is instituted within one

(1) year from the date the cause of action accrues. This limited warranty shall be construed and

enforced to the fullest extent allowable by applicable law.

OTHER THAN THE OBLIGATION OF DIXON SET FORTH HEREIN, DIXON DISCLAIMS ALL

WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED

WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND

ANY OTHER OBLIGATION OR LIABILITY. THE FOREGOING CONSTITUTES DIXON'S

SOLE OBLIGATION WITH RESPECT TO DAMAGES, WHETHER DIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR

CONSEQUENTIAL, RESULTING FROM THE USE OR PERFORMANCE OF THE PRODUCT.

FloTech brand probes/sensors incorporate adouble elastomer design which seals and secures thesensitive optic prism tip. The elastomer seals are flexibleallowing thermal expansion and resistance to steamcleaning and petroleum chemical attack.
