    Introduction Fendercare is part of James Fisher & Sons plc, giving us the support and expertise of a group with a wide range of marine capabilities. Fendercare provides marine terminal, subsea and ship-to-ship services to the offshore industry. We specialise in providing specialist marine services from quayside to deep sea, providing specialist DP and Daughter Craft support vessels for ROV and diving operations, we design and manufacture our own IMCA compliant dive systems and are full members of the IMCA Diving and ROV worldwide Division. Quality of manufacture, innovative designs and efficient service are the hallmarks of all FCM products and operations. This service has been further enhanced with the acquisition and introduction of Divex into the company group. Fendercare offers international expertise, backed up by experienced personnel and reliable equipment, and assisted where required by the James Fisher Plc group we deliver projects on time and on budget.

    Corporate Responsibility Fendercares responsibility extends not only to our own personnel but to our customers, suppliers, stakeholders and the environment. Our number one priority is to the safety of operations, and that of the personnel involved with the delivery. Safety is managed by the implementation of an over-arching Safety and Assurance plan, with Risk Assessments and verification.

    Occupational Health and Safety Our Policy is to ensure that Fendercares Occupational Health and Safety procedures continually develop to protect the People, Environment, Assets and Reputation in carrying out operations, placing us at the forefront of safety whatever the environment or geographic location. Fendercare is certificated to OHSAS 18001:2007 for Health and Safety. Fendercare has a dedicated Health, Safety and Environment department supported by an experienced Marine Management team, developing and improving our safety management systems. This enables us to constantly review our safety procedures and take any legislative requirements into account to ensure that operations are carried out to highest standards, anywhere in the world.     Environmental Responsibility We undertake to not only implement measures which prevent pollution, but also continually improve our environmental performance, whilst also making aware and encouraging all parties associated with the company to consider how they affect the environment. We comply with all environmental laws and other regulations, which Fendercare subscribe.     Complete Diving Solution

    Fendercare provides a wide range of diving services and equipment, to install, inspect, maintain and remove underwater structure of all types. We have extensive experience of supporting shipping companies, offshore operators, onshore facilities and other businesses or authorities requiring underwater work to be carried out. Our own diving teams are trained and experienced in a wide range of techniques and procedures. Safety is a paramount consideration. Our Safety Management System includes project specific procedures and risk assessments in compliance with current legislation, UK HSE regulations, host nation legislation, IMCA recommendations and best industry practice. Support vessels and personnel are provided as required.

    Diving Services Equipment Supply We supply a comprehensive selection of diving and life support equipment for sale or hire. Equipment is manufactured to our own designs or to your specifications. Our design engineers can assist with any design, based on a deep knowledge of the requirements of users and certification authorities. Clients Representatives, Consultancy and Project Management Our knowledge of subsea operations is regularly used by offshore and onshore operators and engineers. Through Fendercare Marine and other members of the James Fisher Group we have access to a global network of skills, experience and hardware. We have developed tried and tested procedures and risk assessments for most underwater requirements. General Techniques Weld cleaning and surface preparation, underwater cutting, clamp installation, anti-corrosion protection, CCTV surveys, inspection and non-destructive testing, salvage identification and recovery. Shipping Hull cleaning, cathodic protection, UWILD surveys, CCTV surveys, pre-purchase surveys, damage assessment for insurance.

    Diving Equipment Manufacturing and Sales Our extensive diving experience lies behind a range of equipment suited to work offshore and in civil engineering applications.     SCUBA replacement packages Repair, Maintenance and Refurbishment We offer a service of refurbishment, testing, recertification and upgrading of your own diving equipment. Services for diving companies range from testing, refurbishment and recertification of decompression chambers, through to redesign and repackaging of DDC dive control packages compliant with IMCA. We also offer the service of complete strip down and inspection of all internal components for a range of Braden winches, carried out in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations using Braden-trained in-house personnel. We also service Kirby Morgan diving helmets and band masks.

    Vessels Fendercare can provide and manage berth assist and escort tugs to cover all type of operations onshore and offshore oil and gas terminals and ports. The Fendercare owned and chartered fleet consists of a range of support vessels including:

    Diving Support Vessels Depending on client requirements, we are able to deliver these craft along with a highly trained and experienced crew. Fendercare has supplied vessels for a vast range of marine projects including most a recent project providing Export Tanker Support Services in Angola. This fleet has enabled us to build a track record managing vessels and conducting operations of a diverse nature in varied regions. This record ably demonstrates our ability to operate successfully and fulfil our client obligations.

    Fendercare Experience Client: BP Location: Block 18 & 31 Angola Work: The work consists of services and tasks

    associated with operating a deep water export terminal. Export tankers arrive approximately every 4 days at Block 18 and every 8 days at Block 31 to lift approximately 1,000,000 barrel cargoes of crude oil. Each arriving export tanker is berthed to one of the assets (Calm Buoy or tandem mooring to the stern on the FPSOs).

    Experience Continued Client: Royal Navy Location: Great Yarmouth Work: In February 2011, the specialist anchor

    handling vessel Normand Pioneer docked in the Outer Harbour at Great Yarmouth, UK in the final phase of a month long exercise managed by FCM to recover and recycle a 175 tonne naval buoy. Two vessels were chartered and a team of over 30 involved, including locally sourced ROVs and diving experts. The buoy had been used as an integral part of the equipment trials for the Royal Navys new Type 45 destroyers on exercises in the Mediterranean. Having supplied some of the original equipment, Fendercare won the 2million contract to decommission the buoy when it was no longer required. On completion of the recovery work a seabed survey was undertaken and additional debris cleared.

    Client: Visser & Smit Marine Contracting Location: Walney 2 development off the Barrow-in-

    Furness Work: To insert a messenger cable into each of

    51 wind turbines. The work has taken place over 85 days of the summer months and has involved the supply of DPII vessel, a fitted Ampelmann personnel transfer system and ROVs to carry out the work.

    Client: Bayfield Oil Location: Abidjan Work: The scope of work involved inspection of the

    GSF Monitor Rig. Once the rig departed the template was also inspected.

    The works were carried out using a Seaeye Falcon System with a 5 function Manipulator skid.

    Experience - Continued Client: BP Location: Isle of Grain Work: The scope of work involved inspection the

    pilings and dolphins located at Isle of Grain Terminal.

    All ROV surveys carried out using a Video Ray Pro 4 system, surface Control Box and computer, 40m Performance Tether, 75m Neutral Tether and a Blue Ray Imaging Sonar.

    Client: BP Location: Hamble Terminal, Southampton Work: To carry out an ROV survey of the fire water

    intake pumps and the main jetty frontage located at BP Hamble Terminal. All ROV surveys were carried out utilising a Video Ray Pro 4 ROV c/w a 75 metres tether and suitcase control panel.

    Client: Maersk Contractors Location: Maersk Curlew F.P.S.O Work: Provision of ROV personnel and equipment for

    the Annual ROV Inspection Programme utilising a Seaeye Surveyor operating from the clients vessel 'Maersk Dee' with the ROV control spread installed onto the vessel bridge to enable strong communication between the ROV Supervisor and Vessel Master at all times during the operation. A Simrad HPR and TSS 340 Pipetracker were used with the ROV to complete the scope of work.

    Client: Marathon International Petroleum Ireland

    Limited Location: Kinsale Head Platforms Ireland Irish Sea Work: Provision of a platform based team to inspect

    and assess the extent of the damage caused to the submerged structure by a supply boat colliding with the platform. The work included a general visual inspection of the damaged area followed by a CCTV survey. The marine growth was removed from the area and a close visual inspection (CVI) and ultrasonic wall thickness reading survey was carried out. On completion of the above and the As Left survey the video footage obtained was edited for inclusion within the final report.

    Experience Continued Client: Maersk Olie og Gas AS Location: Offshore Denmark Work: The scope of work included the provision of a

    rig based ROV system and down hole camera services for utilisation on various drilling and accommodation units chartered by the client in the Gorm, Dan and Tyra fields. For drilling support operations such as spud can surveys, monitoring cement returns, running caisson, debris clearance and site clearance surveys.

    Client: Esso Drilling Denmark Location: Offshore Denmark Work: Provision of Seaeye Tiger and ROV inspection

    team for the jack-up rig Ensco 71 Underwater Inspection in lieu of Dry-Docking (UWILD) survey.

    Client: Amerada Hess Location: Denmark. Work: Provision of ROV Services for the visual survey

    and inspection of the SAL System at the South Arne Platform in the Danish Sector of the North Sea during tanker hook-up operations.
