Diversity School

is an organization that promotes cultural exchange through Spanish language instruction with emphasis on practical learning, interactive and creative elements in our Costa Rican locations or other selected countries in Latin America.

A combination of communication, excursions, different kind of activities and everyday procedures with each other promote holistic learning. We want our students to enjoy their lessons by teaching them how to speak as soon as possible and feel comfortable in the local culture and environment.

COSTA RICA Puerto Viejolive in a student house or hotel

Puerto Viejo, located at the South Caribbean coast of Costa Rica is an all year round warm and tropical place which is known for its rasta-mentality and perfect waves. Here you can dive into the native culture and the Caribbean rhythm, discover the richness of its flora and fauna and enjoy the tasty food.

San Isidro del Generalstay in host families or in a hotel

San Isidro, a friendly, traditional and sunny town close to the Pacific Ocean and surrounded by picturesque mountains invites you to make it to your base to study and explore this beautiful country on the most suitable way. Practise Spanish and get to know the living habits of the costarican people while living with selected families.

Uvitastay with a host family or in a hotel

Uvita, a small quaint community directly at the South Pacific coast invites with its white sandy beaches which are part of the Marino Ballena National Park, which is named for humpback whales who meet and mate here every winter and spring. The local but as well international village atmosphere, the large sandy beaches and the rainforest mountains in the back make this an ideal place to study the Spanish language and experience nature at its best.

GUATEMALA Antigua Guatemala

Antigua Guatemala is an old colonial city from over 300 years ago with an impressive architecture where you can still feel the magic from the past.

COLOMBIA Cartagena

Cartagena, a beautiful town in the Caribbean Region of Colombia is the perfect mix of beach life and city feeling.

ECUADOR

Cuenca

The center of the friendly and relaxed city in the highlands of Ecuador, Cuenca, is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Trust site because of its many historical buildings.

Baños

Baños, the adventure city of Ecuador and known as the "Gateway to the Amazon", is a great destination to do outdoor sports, thermal bathing and jungle tours.

Montañita

The small coastal town Montañita, located on the Peninsula of Santa Elena, is a popular destination for surfers from around the world and it is considered to have one of the best beaches in Ecuador's south coast.

NICARAGUA Ometepe

The island Ometepe, formed by two volcanoes, is located in the Lake Nicaragua and its beautiful and unique landscape with natural pools and waterfalls is waiting to get explored.

San Juan del Sur

Surrounded by two mountains this coastal town is famous among surfers and an excellent spot to relax on the beach and enjoy the nightlife.

1. Standard Spanish (20 hours a week plus extra activities)2. Intensive Spanish (30+ hours a week plus extra activities)3. Specialized Spanish (e.g. Medical Spanish, environmental focus, etc)4. Traveling classroom (combination of classes in 1-2-3 of our school locations

with travel elements; 2+weeks)5. Spanish classes and volunteering in social or environmental programs.
