In my letters to you dated February 27,2009 and June 17,2009, I informed you that "this Office does not have authority to review or act in any pending case." (Emphasis added.) Upon inquiry, the Portland District Court has informed this Office that active litigation remains in your case. As in my prior correspondence, I must unfortunately remind you of Rule II(4)(a) ofthe Maine Rules for Guardians ad litem that reads, in part, as follows: "The Chief Judge will not take any action with respect to, or initiate a review with respect to, a complaint arising from a pending case." (Emphasis added.) Therefore, I must again inform you that since the matter remains a pending case, this Office is without jurisdiction to act, and therefore no further action will be taken. ~c;:!IL Charles C.
