Replaces the HSPA (high school) and NJASK in LAL and Mathematics
Students participated in PARCC English Language Arts
(ELA) in grades 3-11
Students participated in PARCC Mathematics
grades 3-8 and Algebra I, Geometry and Algebra II
A panel representing the states in the PARCC consortium determined the “cut off threshold scores”
They set the scores for 5 levels
Level 1: Did not Yet Meet Expectations
Level 2: Partially Met Expectations
Level 3: Approached Expectations
Level 4: Met Expectations
Level 5: Exceeded Expectations
The State of New Jersey has adopted multiple assessment criteria to fulfill graduation assessment requirements
PARCC test scores are one way students can satisfy high school requirements.
