THIRD PARTY SELLERS START
COMPLAINING AGAINST
AMAZON’S DOMINANCE
SELLERS
AGAINST AMAZON
Link to the article
Amazon has recently come under serious scrutiny by
the Department of Justice and the Free Trade
Commission for its anticompetitive practices. This has
come after a series of complaints voiced by sellers
against some of Amazon’s unfair actions on its own
marketplace. Third party sellers are being squeezed
by Amazon’s sale of its own private label products,
such as Amazon Basics, and by the site’s algorithmic
pricing, which constantly sells Amazon’s products at a
lower price than its competition. As a result, many
third party sellers are organizing against Amazon in
hopes of seeing some change.
