LA DISTRIBUZIONE SU RUOTE DEL GAS NATURALE In Italy the transport on wheels of natural gas is used from over 60 years with a technology by now mature and with reduced costs. Today where the pipeline is not available, it is possible to provide to a continuous and cheap supply of compressed natural gas (CNG) also to the small uses through the transport on wheels.

In italia il trasporto su ruote di gas naturale viene utilizzato da otre 60 anni con una tecnologia ormai matura e con costi ridotti. Ancora oggi là dove non è disponibile il metanodotto, è possibile provvedere ad una fornitura continuativa e a basso costo di gas naturale compresso (CNG) anche alle piccole utenze mediante il trasporto su ruota.

The concept of the distribution on wheels. The inspiring principle of the system is that to furnish the compressed gas to the uses that ask for it, transporting it through modular storage units that stays by the consumer, connected to the group of reduction for the necessary time to their emptying (minimum 3-4 bars) and subsequently to replace them with units full of natural gas at 200 bars. In this way the consumer that can be an industry or a civil use can have natural gas in continuous way.

• Il concetto della distribuzione su ruote Il principio ispirativo del sistema è quello di fornire il gas compresso alle utenze che lo richiedono, trasportandolo per mezzo di unità di stoccaggio modulari che restano presso l’utente, collegate al gruppo di riduzione per il tempo necessario al loro svuotamento (minimo 3-4 bar) e successivamente sostituirle con unità piene di gas naturale a 200 bar. In questo modo l’utente che può essere una industria o un’utenza civile può disporre di gas naturale in modo continuativo.

The supply of natural gas therefore, with all the advantages

both of economic character that environmental - low cost of purchase, low issue of pollutants - can also be brought in the isolated and remote places, where the construction of a pipeline or a fixed distribution system would be uneconomic or of difficult realization. The particular type of modular storage unit studied by SAFE CNGtechnology, allows its handling through simple and economic vehicles.

La fornitura di gas naturale quindi, con tutti i vantaggi sia di carattere economico che ambientale – basso costo

d’acquisto, bassa emissione di inquinanti - può essere portata anche in località isolate e remote, dove la costruzione di un metanodotto o di una rete distributiva fissa sarebbe antieconomica o di difficile realizzazione. Il particolare tipo di unità di stoccaggio modulare studiato da SAFE CNG technology poi, permette la sua movimentazione mediante veicoli assai semplici ed economici.

In this way also the cost of transport of the gas results to be very low, both as investment in vehicles that as costs of management. The combination of compression unit, of modular storage and different and economic means of transport, allows the maximum flexibility of use of the system. Also the mother station, i.e. the station connected to the point of intake from the pipeline and in which occurs the charging of the modular storage groups and cylinders trucks, is conceived so that to guarantee the maximum operational flexibility.

In questo modo anche il costo di trasporto del gas risulta essere molto basso, sia come investimento in veicoli che come costi di gestione. La combinazione unità di compressione , di stoccaggio modulari e mezzi economici e diversificati di trasporto, permette la massima flessibilità di utilizzo del sistema. Anche la stazione madre, cioè la stazione collegata al punto di prelievo dal metanodotto ed in cui avviene la carica dei gruppi di stoccaggio modulari e carri bombolai, è concepita in modo da garantire la massima flessibilità operativa.
