Pick one plant and one animal native to Iowa. They do not have to currently inhabit the state. Example: buffalo once roamed the grasslands before human settlement.

Write a 3 page paper (or 15 slide presentation) describing the anatomy, physiology, classification, ecological and behavioral characteristics of each.

Work cited page must be included with any websites listed that were referenced. This page (or slides) will not count towards final page total.

Make sure it is at least 3 pages or 15 slides. Grade will be docked if it is short.
