He may also be identicalto the Ferenc FARCAS, who by 1955 no longer worked for Subject andvas the instigator of much conflict within Subject's group. c

MIS Screening Center in Salzburg by KOLLENYI's recruiting team some-time before or during 1950. At that time, he was probably alsoassociated with Hugo TRU. By 1952 HEGEDUS, using the alias ofBARSONY, worked as a "legman and fingerm1n" for Subject's group. ByDecember 1953, Weever, he had broken with Subject and/or his groupand renortedly tried to spread dissension within it for revenge.

22. General Gusztav HENNYEY, a former Hungarian Army officer,was the Subject of at least one of KOLLENYI's reports in 1950.

About 1950,when be was in charge of the Press and Propaganda Section of theMEEK, he drew up the agreement between HOLISM and tie MHBK wherebyKOLLEM71 paid a regular sum to receive MHBK intelligence reporting.In 1951, however, ZAKO dropped bin from the MHBK. -3

Hungary in competition with Subject as early as 1948, when KOVACSwas invited to merge with ZAKO.

34. Andre EMMA, who was with VOA, knew Subject as early as 1.951In 1955 he was responsible for blowing Subject and his activities tothe AYH.

435. Baron Victor RRUCHINA, a British IS operative in the "CHIO"

in Millstatt, was a somrce for information KOLLENYI and KORPONAYcollected for the CIC until circa December 1947 when KRUCHINA severedhis connections with them.

36. Bela0LANCZY (V -17579/C), a member of the P(R)ICHLER croup,

debriefed refugees in various cafes in Vienna in 1951. In 1952 hevas described as a 'member of the GEOCZE (SZENDROEI ?) group of intel-ligence swindlers in Austria. He alternately claimed to work forthe French, British, BND, and CIC.

37. David LESZLI interrogated refugees in Vienna until 1951 whenhe migrated to Australia.

SO. Dr. Vassil RADOEV (V-17520), a former medical officer in theBulgarian Army, debriefed Bulgarian refugees in Graz for Imre KLEINand/or the BND. About 1951 he apparently had a disagreement withKOLLE1I11 (degree of seriousness not specified).

51. Henrik RATKY (V-10071) a close friend of DECLEVA, worked asan informant until he was dropped in June 1949 after a hostilerecruitment pitch by the British IS.

52. Istvan SALTESZ was described in 1953 as probably workingfor Subject.

53. Josef &PAUL, who lived in Vienna and who was an employee ofa Danube shipping firm, was listed in 1952 among Subject's possiblecontacts.

54. Josef SCHMIDT, described in 1950 as a blackmarketeer andprofessional smuggler, was recruited as a courier into Hungary andparticipated in at least one exfiltration mission.

Sandor VISNYEY (V-14470), born 25 May 1917 in Hungary, wasin contact with TRUK in 1950. He was in charge of offensive intelli-gence and agent training in Salzburg for Subject. He was reportedlykidnapped by the AVE and arrested in Hungary in December 1956. 47 A

70. Laszlo'VURAY (V-14761), born 6 June 1925 in Budapest,directed a radio intercept program in Austral but was terminated on20 February 1964. Subsequently he went to work for CIC.121:-
