In order to manage home-isolation and home-quarantine, and avoid affecting the
promotion of epidemic prevention measures. Organizations affiliated to Executive Yuan
combined innovative technologies to build up the “Disease Monitoring and Control
System”, track through mobile phone signals to ensure the implementation of epidemic
prevention measures.
Dilemma
Disease Monitoring and Control System was cooperated with five major telecoms in
Taiwan, manage home-isolation and home-quarantine location through the distance
between mobile phone signals and nearest cell site. In addition, we integrated with
the ”Entry Quarantine System” to keep the epidemic situation under control.

the Taiwan Centers for Disease Control
(CDC), positioning data from the five
major telecom operators, and CDC open
data to provide a graphical interface for
the CDC to analyze the epidemic.
