Where do tours depart from?Unless otherwise indicated, motorcoach tours depart from the Daniel’s Discovery Tours office located at the ACE Country Living Complex, 4336 Cor-nelia Highway, Lula, Georgia 30554. We are just north of Gainesville, Georgia on GA 365 between Mile Marker 31 and 32. If you don’t live near our departure location in Lula, we make it easy for you to join one of our tours with our Pre-Night offer. We will make a reservation for you to stay at a hotel near our office (subject to hotel availability) the night before a tour and you pay only $50 per room, we pay the rest. We have a large parking lot at our facility where you can park your vehicle for the duration of your trip. The parking lot is locked each evening.What is included in my tour price?Motorcoach tours printed in our catalog include deluxe Daniel’s motorcoach transportation, highly rated hotel accommodations, attractions listed, meals listed, baggage handling, meal gratuities, and driver gratuities. Is there a lot of walking involved on this tour?The answer depends on the tour. While we design our motorcoach tours with primarily senior adults in mind, there are times that walking is required in order for our travelers to fully experience a destination. In some cities such as New York City, Charleston and Washington, D.C. large motorcoaches cannot access certain areas; therefore, moderate walking, even climbing steps can be required to reach restaurants or attractions. Passengers are not permitted to stay on the motorcoach when it is scheduled to be parked and locked for any length of time; therefore, passengers need to be prepared to leave the coach in these instances. Contact us if you are concerned about the amount of walking on a particular tour and we will let you know what to expect.I have a disability and may need special assistance. Notify us of any disability requiring special attention at the time you make your reservation. Daniel’s Discovery Tours observes the Americans with Disabilities Act and will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the special needs of travelers.
