10. SMART BLIND-SPOT DETECTION1*

Available Smart Blind-Spot Detection uses a radar system to help detect vehicles in the

driver’s blind spot, provides visual alerts, and, in certain situations, takes action. The fully

integrated system includes a forward-looking camera that helps detect if your vehicle

is crossing into another lane unintentionally. The system is designed to go into action

if you begin to change lanes when a vehicle in an adjacent lane is detected in your blind

spot. The active system applies just enough braking pressure to the front wheel on

the opposite side to assist your vehicle back on its intended course.

9. LANE-CHANGE ASSIST1*

An available radar system helps detect vehicles approaching from behind

and then provides audio and visual alerts.

8. LANE DEPARTURE WARNING SYSTEM1*

This available system is designed to detect the vehicle moving out of its

lane without the turn signal being used. When it does, it alerts you with a

combination of audible and visual warnings.

7. AUTONOMOUS EMERGENCY BRAKING1*

This available system is designed to detect and monitor vehicles traveling ahead of

you. It then works to automatically apply the brakes if it determines a crash might be

imminent, helping to avoid a collision or mitigate the effects if it cannot be avoided.

Available Forward Collision Warning System activates and encourages the

driver to decelerate when the system detects objects immediately ahead

that may cause a potential impact.

brake pedal, it instantly applies full

braking force, which helps shorten

When starting off on a steep hill,

HAC automatically holds the brake

pressure for two seconds after you

take your foot off the brake pedal

to help prevent you from rolling back.

ELECTRONIC BRAKE-FORCE

To help maintain more consistent

braking as vehicle loads and weight

distribution change, the EBD system is

designed to automatically adjust the

front-to-rear balance of brake pressure.

TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM (TCS)

When TCS senses wheelspin during

vehicle acceleration, it uses a combi-

nation of both engine power and

brake force to help transfer power

to the wheel that has more traction.
