Summertime Thursday evenings will once again be the highlight of your week
when you gather at the Indianapolis Zoo for cool and refreshing musical
entertainment! Starting July 11 and continuing every Thursday through Aug. 15,
the Indianapolis Zoo and Indiana Members Credit Union present Animals & All
That Jazz where visitors can sit back, relax, and enjoy the summer air with colorful
scenery, delightful music, and great people. This great music series, which is
sponsored by Macy's, is celebrating its 25th anniversary!
Each week of Animals and All That Jazz, the music and fun will continue from
5:30-8:30pm with the animals out until 7pm to enjoy the jazz alongside our guests.
The rides will also stay open until 7pm. Each concert features specialty food options in addition to regular Zoo
fare and drinks specials. Check back soon for full menu details. Plus our adult guests can enjoy Sun King
Brewery sampling each night.
2013 Concert Schedule JULY 11: Everett Greene and Anita Hall The 25th anniversary of Animals and All That Jazz kicks off with Emmy Award
winning bass-baritone singer Everett Greene and talented recording artist Anita
Hall. The combination of Greene's smooth style and Hall's incredible vocal range is
sure to be jazz perfection.

JULY 18: Gregg Bacon The sizzle of Indianapolis native Gregg Bacon's saxophones are sure to delight.
With his breadth of skill, including the ability to entertain while playing up to three
horns at one time, this jazz legend's musical styling will tantalize your senses.

JULY 25: Steve Allee Group Pianist, composer and arranger Steve Allee brings more than 35 years of experience to the stage. His career
facets have blended into a unique, almost cinematic flavor - an experience that should not be missed.

AUG. 1: Monika Herzig Acoustic Project Discover the warm-hearted, reflective side of jazz. Herzig's fine musicianship, including both originals and
classic standards stripped down to the bare bones are sure to stir your soul.

AUG. 8: Kelleen Strutz Group Lose yourself in the silky smooth voice of Kelleen Strutz, a multi-talented jazz singer and pianist. Her luxurious
vocals will fill the Zoo during this can't miss performance.

AUG. 15: Orquesta Bravo! The 2013 Animals and All That Jazz season wraps up with the hottest salsa band in the Midwest. Come spice
up your night with classic and contemporary salsa music as you dance to the meringue, cha-cha, bolero and
more.
