Tutti Frutti Solo Parts English: This piece can be played by one or three soloists. (Two soloists is a possibility, but less satisfactory harmonically; in this case the second soloist should take the third part.) Clarinet parts: there are high and low versions of Solo 2 and Solo 3. The high are for use when Solo 1 = flute, the low for when solo 1 = clarinet. Recommended combinations of three soloists: 1. Flute 2. Flute 3. Flute 1. Flute 2. Oboe 3. Clarinet 1. Clarinet 2. Clarinet 3. Clarinet 1. Clarinet 2. Alto Sax 3. Tenor Sax 1. Trumpet 2. Alto or Tenor Sax 3. Trombone Other combinations are possible, but trios made up of low instruments would not sound good! Deutsch: Dieses Stück kann mit einem oder drei Solisten aufgeführt werden. (Zwei Solisten einzusetzen ist auch möglich, aber vom harmonischen Standpunkt weniger befriedigend; in diesem Fall sollte der zweite Spieler die dritte Stimme nehmen.) Klarinettenstimmen: es gibt hohe und tiefe Fassungen der 2. und 3. Stimmen. Die hohen sind zu verwenden, wenn das erste Solo eine Flöte ist, die tiefen, wenn das erste Solo auch auf der Klarinette gespielt wird. Empfohlene Kombinationen bei drei Solisten: (siehe englischen Text oben) Andere Zusammensetzungen sind möglich, aber aus tiefen Instrumenten bestehenden Trios würden nicht gut klingen! Français: Cette pièce peut être jouée par un ou trois solistes. (L'emploi de deux solistes est aussi possible, mais moins satisfaisant du point de vue harmonique; en ce cas le deuxième musicien devrait prendre la troisième voix.) Les parties de clarinettes pour solo 2 et 3 existent en deux versions, aiguës et graves. Les aiguës sont à prendre quand le premier solo est une flûte, les graves quand le premier solo est aussi une clarinette. Combinaisons recommandées pour un trio de solistes: (voir texte anglais ci-dessus) D'autres combinaisons sont possible, mais un trio d'instruments graves ne sonnerait pas bien!
