Introduction

The Vision of Commonwealth Christian Academy;

To provide quality education, to provide academic excellence, and to promote Biblical leadership skills by teaching the mind and reaching the heart of every student for Jesus Christ.

The Mission of Commonwealth Christian Academy:

To provide Biblically based, individualized, self-instructional curriculum, involving diagnostic testing, goal setting, and mastery of subject content.

To accomplish this in a learning environment with informed family members assisted by experienced CCA staff who supervise the educational process and challenge students to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ, incorporating the character traits of the Lord.

To dedicate his or her life to Christ, in Christian service. To that end, A.C.E. curriculum encourages students academically and spiritually to excel to an individual maximum potential, both spiritually and academically.

The Purpose of Commonwealth Christian Academy:

To teach that the Lord Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that His death and resurrection provide forgiveness of sin and new life through faith in Him.

To teach that the Bible is the Word of God, and to help the student appreciate and accept its practical use and importance.

To teach the student the fundamentals of Gods creation, including language arts, geography, mathematics, history, science, fine arts, health, and the Bible from a Christ-centered viewpoint, so that he will develop to the glory of God spiritually, emotionally, socially, mentally, and physically - not in his natural energy, but through the new life in Christ.

To teach our students to purpose to yield themselves completely to God in submission and obedience to His will as revealed in the Bible.

To teach that progress in Christian living is dependent upon fellowship with the Lord Jesus Christ through prayer, service, and feeding upon the Word of God.

To teach and apply spiritual principles in the disciplining of the student. To teach the students to work both independently and cooperatively while they learn to think and to responsibly apply Christian principles in any situation.

To stimulate in the students the appreciation of and desire for wholesome recreation.

To teach and develop in our students the proper attitudes, ideals, habits, knowledge, and skills which are necessary preparations for life. To give the student the kind of experience that will help him face life with courage and understanding, and to help him experience a living faith in God that will make him a credit to Christ, his community, his nation, and himself.

Bible Used

Only the King James Version of the Bible is to be used at CCA.

School Philosophy

CCA believes that, for a student to be really educated, he must not only know academics, but what Gods Word says. This school is dedicated to the training of children in a program of study, activity and living that is Christ-centered. Emphasis is placed on learning and character development. In this way, students may grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever! Amen. (II Peter 3:18)

CCA was founded upon the authority of the Word of God and emphasizes the fundamentals of the Christian faith. The Bible is the center of this schools curriculum.

We believe that all things should be done decently and in order and that our students should be taught to accept the responsibility to walk honorably before all men.

Here, a discipline is maintained which is firm, consistent, fair and tempered with love. Our staff maintains standards of behavior in the learning center through kindness, love and a genuine regard for the students. However, when disciplinary action becomes necessary, it is firmly carried out, tempered by good judgment and understanding.

CCA does not discriminate based on race or sex.

Doctrinal Statement

Verbal Inspiration We believe n the verbal inspiration and plenary authority of both the Old and New Testaments, and that they are the supreme and final authority in all matters of life and faith. (II Timothy 3:16-17)

Trinity We believe that the Godhead eternally exists in three persons The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; and that these three are one God, having precisely the same nature, attributes and perfections, and worthy of precisely the same homage, confidence and obedience. (Genesis 1:1; John 10:30, 4:24; 1:1-4; Isaiah 63:8-10; Matthew 28:19-20; Mark 12:29; Acts 5:3-4; II Corinthians 13:14; Hebrews 1:1,3; Revelation 1:1-3).

Mans Condition We believe man was created in the likeness of God, but because of sin, has become totally depraved, without hope for eternity except through acceptance of salvation made possible by the shed blood and resurrection of Jesus Christ. (Romans 3:10-23)

Satan We believe in t
