Reusons fur the Decision The Environmental Protection Agency (the Agency) is satisfied, on the basis of the information available, that subject to compliance with the conditions of licence Reg. No. DOOl6-01 granted on the 22 April 2009, as well as any amendments noted herein, any discharge from the activity will comply with and not contravene any of the requirements of Regulation 6 (3) of the Waste Water Discharge (Authorisation) Regulations, 2007 as amended.
Technical Amendmmt In pursuance of the powers conferred on it by Section 33(l)(c) of the Waste Water Discharge (Authorisation) Regulations, 2007 as amend4 the Agency amends Licence Reg. No. D0016-01, granted to Mayo County Council.
Henceforth, the licence shall be read in conjunction with the amendments set out below.
This technical amendment is Iimited to the following Conditions and Schedules of Licence Reg. No. DOOl6-01.

Amendments 1. Delete the followhg in the Glossary of Terms:
Regional Fisheria Board: Western Regional Fisheries Board.
2. Replace Condition 2.1.2(ii)
FOT BOD and COD, no more than the relevant number of samples specified in Schedule B3: Interpretation of Discharge Monitoring Results of this licence - Column 2 shall exceed the concentration Emission Limit Value based on the number of samples taken as listed in Schedule B3: Interpretation of Discharge Monitoring ResuZts of this licence - Column I. No individual result similarly calculated shall exceed the emission limit value by more than 100%.

6. Replace Condition 4 3
The licensee shall install on all emission points such sampling points or equipment, including any data-logging or other electronic communication equipment, as may be required by the Agency. All such equipment shall be consistent with the safe operation of all sampling and monitoring systems.

7. Include the following new condition-under Condition 6:
6.12 The licensee shall, within six months of date of grant of this licence, ensure that a documented Emergency Response Procedure is in place, that addresses any emergency situation that may originate on-site. This procedure shall include provision for minimising the effects of any emergency on the environment. This procedure shall be reviewed mually and updated as necessary.
