Project Scope

Safety• Installation of new security cameras.• Door security access systems.• Replacement of exterior site lighting fixtures and bulbs.

Building Improvements

Development Improvements • Restoration of 1 playground.• Resurfacing of sidewalks, pavement and asphalt sitewide that are impacted by construction.• Replacement of underground electrical wiring system.• Provision of flood barrier system at the building entrances.

Resiliency• Manual dry flood proofing of areas below the established FEMA flood level.

Energy• Installation of full backup power generators at buildings 14, 15, 18 and 19.• Additional sitewide energy and sustainability measures (awaiting HUD approval).

• Removal of hazardous materials and cleaning of building crawl spaces.• New MEP annexes above the FEMA flood level to house ATS, CT cabinets and distribution panels.• Partial roof replacement for buildings 14, 15, 18 and 19.• Replacement and/or repair of doors, door frames and hardware damaged by water.• Replacement and/or repair of mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment damaged by water to

include: vacuum/condensate pumps, related piping and insulation of piping in crawlspace.• Renovation of 7 first floor apartments damaged by Sandy.• Back water valves on sewer/storm plumbing lines.• Replacement of sump pumps.
