The disasters a0ect humans and other living beings across the globe. 1or instance, earth+ua%es, cyclones, oods, droughts, etc., can ta%es place in any country irrespective o social and economic development . 2 t times, a single sisater may a0ect several coun tries at time. The Tsunami o 34 th  December 3556 devasted the shores o india, 7ndonesia, sri lan%a, Thailand and other countries. 3. oss# c ertain disa sters r esults in d eath o several people. 1 or insta nce, the -u8arat earth+ua%e in 355 resu9lted in deaths o over 3555 people. The :rissa cyclone in ;;; %illed 5555 people.
