HOW TO FILL OUT THE COVER & MINISTRY PAGE FORMSUSE ONE SHEET PER PAGE - these are provided in the back pocket of the Design Guide

Please double check to make sure all items are enclosed.***** PAPER COPIES OF SUBMITTED PHOTOS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE *****

••• 300 DPI DIGITAL PHOTOS ARE PREFERRED •••

ADOBE INDESIGN OR ILLUSTRATOR All backgrounds that aren’t White must have BLEED (1/8 of an inch more than the page size). If you choose one of our backgrounds, we will add it for you. All colors used in the document should be CMYK only (no RGB or Spot Colors). Images must not be embedded into the document, this is also called “Stored In Publication” in Pagemaker. ***** WHEN SUBMITTING THESE FILES, PLEASE ALSO INCLUDE ALL IMAGES AND FONTS USED.

ADOBE PHOTOSHOP & MICROSOFT PUBLISHER Files should be saved as a 300 or better DPI JPEG in CMYK color space. Please design your pages with bleed in mind (1/8 of an inch more than the page size). This means that the page size should be 8.625” x 11.25”. ***** WHEN SUBMITTING THESE FILES, PLEASE ALSO INCLUDE ALL IMAGES AND FONTS USED.

DO’S & DON’TS FOR DESIGNING PAGES • DO NOT USE WORD PROCESSOR, PRESENTATION OR SPREADSHEET SOFTWARE TO DESIGN YOUR PAGES (Microsoft Word, Powerpoint Or Excel) It is acceptable (and preferred) if you submit any text that will be used on your page in such software, but not images in this format. • ALL PAGES WITH BACKGROUND SHOULD HAVE BLEED. This means that on all edges of the page, except for the side with the spine of the book, the background must hang out 1/8”. Your book will be printed on larger paper and then cut down. This gives the cutter a little extra room to work with, and avoids unpleasant looking white edges on your pages. Unless you are submitting your whole layout in Adobe Photoshop. DO NOT set any text in any image editing software.

DO’S & DON’TS FOR DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY • When dealing with resolution, the rule of thumb is 300 dpi for photos. That is the standard for printing. If you use a Digital Camera, always shoot on the highest resolution setting. • Remember that your computer monitor is not always a reliable tool for previewing images that will eventually print. The reason is due to the resolution difference between screen (72 dpi) and print (300 dpi for photos). • We will accept JPG, TIFF, EPS and PDF file formats.

DO NOT USE any web formats, such as BMP, GIF. or PNG

PLACE ALL PHOTOS, DIGITAL IMAGES, CDs, ROSTER LISTING, AND ELECTRONIC FILES IN THE DESIGN MATERIALS ENVELOPE. Please identify them with a photo safe writing tool. Identify them by page number and photo number (e.g. Ministry Page 1 is 1-1, 1-2, Ministry Page 2 is 2-1, 2-2).

Friends: We are happy to present the first pictorial directory in the history of our Charge. We hope you enjoy the pictures and use the directory to learn to know one another better as we grow closer as the family of God.

In Christ's Love,

Pastor Austin

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ: It has been a wonderful blessing to share in the ministry of Christ at St. John's and Trinity over the last three-four years. I am thankful that at this time I can continue to encour-age and strengthen you in a small but caring way.

Most Sincerely,

Pastor Brenner
