class to have been published, being pre, ceded by one in 1899 by Dwight B. Cheever, one in 1904 by Henry E. Nothomb, and the most recent one published by Raymond A.

· Latting in 1931. A complete list of every member of the

class, including all those who were grad, uated and those who dropped out earlier, as well as some whose degrees were con, ferred at a later date has been given, and we have followed the plans of the former directories in listing information, insofar as possible, concerning each member, his ad .. dress, his family status, and his career. AJ ... though every effort has been made to com ... pile complete and accurate information, er ... rors have crept in because of lack of defi .. nite material in many cases. Where just the last known post office address has been given, it is listed because mail sent there has not been returned and we have taken it for granted that it was received by that person, who has just neglected answering it.

Where death is known to have occurred, it is so stated together with the time and place if that information is available.

Records of the University, former direc, tories, and letters from the class members, themselves, have all been used in gathering material, together with newspaper clippings and we have tried in every way to list mod, ern, up,to,date data concerning each class" mate.

It has been enjoyable work preparing this directory as we have reecived so many in, teresting letters from former classmates and as they contained such a fund of informa, tion, we are turning them all over to the Alumni office for their use.
