My extensive background has enabled me to develop mastery of graphic design, retouching and creatives as well as offset, flexo and rotogravure printing in both digital and conventional formats as well as large format inkjet printing. I am experienced in the design and production of release materials, insertion orders and all phases of media ordering including specialty media projects, offset and complete, and photography, both in the studio and on location.     Serving as a member of the upper management team at Seal-It Division of Printpack, I effectively increased department efficiency and cost savings by 20% and more. Comprehensive reorganization strategies included the redesign of production and reassignment of responsibilities to streamline the work flow, maximize the talents of the workforce and tighten production schedules.

    As Director of Operations at RC Communications, I controlled day-to-day operations of the creative, graphics production, separations and retouching studios, including but not limited to, workflow, estimating/billing, efficiency and quality control from project inception to final product. Working closely with clients, art directors and designers, and understanding their specific needs, enabled me to efficiently design workflow and asset management solutions, identify client/server technologies, and determine appropriate outsourcing while maintaining trusted vendor relationships.

    I am very well versed in the complex world of the creative graphics network and production workflow; I recognize demand for speed and uptime in todays break-neck pace of the advertising and graphics industry. I have evolved with the digital imaging process and possess a complete understanding of Asset Management and AM programs across all platforms. At RC, I was challenged to install and maintain the complete networking system including LAN of 70+ nodes with Mixed nodes of Mac OS, various windows OSs, Unix and VAX systems. I successfully implemented full WAN capabilities, Satellite facilities including but not limited to, Internet connectivity, complete mail, FTP and web presence as well as client/server applications.

    I am proficient in retouching as well as all digital image editing, page layout programs and applications of Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark, InDesign and the latest complete Adobe Creative Suite. In my last position at RC Communications, I was responsible for all production aspects of the companys retouching and prepress departments as well as network services and connectivity.

    In recognition of my wide-ranging understanding of the industry, I have been a guest speaker and presenter at numerous seminars and conferences by professional organizations including the Art Directors Club and AGA workshops.
