1. Open up a Word document. 2. Start writing some of the words that you wrote down in your interview. If the word is two words put together, like Baltimore Ravens, use the tilde key ( ~ ). It’s at the top of your keyboard all the way to the left on the number line; you do have to hold down the shift key. So it should look like this Baltimore~Ravens. Exp. 3. Add the person’s fist and last name 5 more times. 4. Now save the document under your files. My version of Word is a little different than yours but save it as “save as” under that persons name.

5. Now open up the internet and go to Wordle.net 6. Using the menu in Wordle go to “Gallery”. Here you can see some examples of

other created Wordles.

7. Now go back to your word document and copy it.

8. Open up Wordle and click on “create” in the menu.

9. Once you are in the create page, “paste” your list of words from Word in the box.

10. Your page should now have all of the words from the Word document and look like this.

11. When you are done press the go button

12. Your Wordle should look something like this.

13. Now switch seats with your partner and let them change some of the features of the Wordle.

14. You can then play with the buttons to change the font.

15. Or direction of the words.

16. Remember that our printers at school only print in black and white.

17. If you don’t like the results go back to click on create to add or delete some of the words or to have some words appear bigger, add that word a few more times.

18. When you have it the way you want it print it. You may make 3 copies.
